Every bit of data we have tells us that children need their fathers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What society fails to talk about, is that it\u2019s not always the father\u2019s fault. In many cases, the mother (with the help of the legal system) prevents the father from being there for his children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What Representing Men in Divorce Taught Me About Fatherhood | Marilyn York | TEDxUniversityofNevada\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RlSwsE22nX0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, every dad\u2019s biggest fear is that his daughter ends up \u201con the pole.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there are even worse places for daughters to end up these days (like my casting couch).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Case in point, the contortionist\/dominatrix I worked with a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I inquired about her \u201cside gig,\u201d she had this to say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWhen these wealthy guys come to me to get abused, I channel all my rage at my father and go to town.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yikes. Well, at least these dudes are getting their money\u2019s worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyhoo, I filmed an intense Mindvana-style o-gasm session with her that I\u2019m giving away as a gift to everyone who sends in a testimonial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll find all the details on the blog. Both sons and daughters need their fathers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you\u2019re estranged from your own children, go do whatever you can to repair those relationships.
