I started working with a new client last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On paper, he has a life that most people would be jealous of. He lives in Manhattan, has a great job (makes about 250K), a great marriage, and good friends. He\u2019s already achieved many of his life goals and he\u2019s only 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But on the inside, he\u2019s not doing so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He wakes up every morning with a sense of dread, he\u2019s consumed with negative thoughts, he feels chronically burned out and on edge, and can\u2019t get himself out of bed without the help of prescription drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most people believe that once they achieve a certain level success, all of their problems will disappear and they\u2019ll finally be happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that\u2019s not how it works. In fact, many highly successful people struggle with feelings of emptiness and despair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you want to be truly happy, then you\u2019ll have to make some tweaks to your mindset. If not, then no matter what you end up achieving, you\u2019re likely to feel that it\u2019s never enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
