One of my secrets to perpetual happiness is my belief in a benevolent higher power that watches over me and always has my back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes, it\u2019s a bit solipsistic, but it\u2019s a very useful belief to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the years I\u2019ve compiled a tremendous amount of evidence that this is actually a very real phenomenon and not just some nonsense I tell myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amazing things continue to happen to me, seemingly at random, as I find myself effortlessly dodging bullet after bullet that flies my way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLuck\u201d is one thing, and I\u2019m a pretty lucky bastard. But I\u2019d have to chalk up this kind of track record to divine intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And while it\u2019s certainly possible that I\u2019m deluding myself and none of this is actually \u201creal\u201d in a tangible sense, I can assure you that it will become real for YOU as soon as you convince yourself that you\u2019re also plugged in to the same source of effortless abundance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s how I do it\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I first start with the belief that the universe is cyclical, which means that we\u2019ll be forced to experience both \u201cpositive\u201d and \u201cnegative\u201d events. There\u2019s no way around this so you shouldn\u2019t expect things to always go smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But what if \u201cnegative events\u201d aren\u2019t just there to make our lives miserable? What if they\u2019re actually serving a useful purpose that we\u2019re unaware of as they\u2019re happening?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And what if everything in your life is unfolding perfectly in order to bring you exactly what you want, while teaching you valuable lessons along the way?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While not everything will turn out the way you want (or expect), you\u2019ll still be getting exactly what you need, in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And this is because God is constantly stepping in and affecting the outcome of certain events. He\u2019s got your back, whether you know it or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So\u2026 if this is the case, then there\u2019s no need to worry about anything. In fact, instead of bitching and moaning about your circumstances, you\u2019ll start looking for all the ways that each uncomfortable situation is actually BENEFITING you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, if a girl I\u2019m talking to randomly flakes on me, my first thought is usually, \u201cwell, this sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But my next thought will look something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know, if I stayed with her long term, there\u2019s a good chance she would have drove me absolutely nuts before she eventually cheated on me, divorced me, stole all my money, kidnapped my future children, and defecated in my bed on the way out.\u201d<\/em> (poor Johnny Depp)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Looks like I dodged a bullet with that one. Thanks, God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you really believe the universe has your back and everything always works out in your favor, your expectations about the future will start to change, which will positively affect the way you\u2019ll think, feel, and behave in various situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And when things seem to be going horribly wrong, you\u2019ll be able to take a step back and wonder if perhaps you\u2019re being forced to take a detour because the road you’re on is about to lead you off a cliff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Divine intervention is all around you. Start looking for it and you\u2019ll see it everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n More tips coming tomorrow.
